Serving Holistic Design

Serving Holistic Design.

What is Holism then? Well, it is the idea that every system, with its characteristics, qualities — and faults too — must considered as a whole, not just an algebraic sum of discrete parts. This means that an holistic approach to design involves a multidisciplinary vision which mixes together skills from various fields of expertise into one powerful, wider and sensitive craft.

who

Fabio Santaniello Bruun

At first, I fell in love with photography. Photography teaches you the sense of composition and the understanding of lights and shadows; you learn to have patience, to wait for the right moment, to search for the right moment.

In 2009 I started my engineering studies, where I learnt to be scrupulous in finding the right answer to make the things work out in the best, personal, way — to get my solution to the problem.

To be precise, I got a master degree in building engineering and architecture. When you study architecture, you got it all, the full pack: space, time, volume, colors, user experience and interface, proportions, relations, emotions — you learn to design for people. You learn how to balance all in the perfect solution where aesthetic meets functionality, where beauty is the shape of the precise and personal answer to the projectual requests.

Since May 2018, I'm an AIAP Junior Partner.
